My name is Lauren Toperzer and I’m the South Carolina State Student Representative for 2009-2010.  I’m currently the Graduate Assistant for Facilities at Clemson University and I’m pursuing a Master’s Degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Montclair State University in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.  I got involved with Campus Recreation as a group fitness instructor and became an employee for facilities, aquatics and special events.  Campus Recreation is an amazing way for a student to get involved and become a leader!

There are several benefits for becoming a student member of SCIRSA! 
Members are provided an opportunity to gain professional development by attending the State Workshop in February.  Additionally, scholarships are available for student members that are interested in attending the NIRSA national conference.  You will also be able to network with other SCIRSA student members and professional staff members from all across the state.
