Miller Yoho - State Student Representative

Greetings!  My name is Miller Yoho and I’m the South Carolina State Student Representative to the National Intramural and Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) for 2010-2011.  I’m currently the Graduate Assistant for Fitness at Clemson University and am pursuing a Master’s Degree in Student Affairs. I went to undergrad at Furman University, where I was a History major.  I became involved in the world of Campus Recreation through both intramurals and playing club Ultimate Frisbee.  Even as a grad student I still make time to participate in these activities, especially Ultimate Frisbee!

I am extremely excited for the field of Campus Recreation and the possibilities of SCIRSA!  This is a great organization and I hope you take time to look over the opportunities it offers.  Student Members are provided many opportunities to gain professional development through attending state, regional, and national conferences.  Additionally, we are working to provide scholarships that are available for student members that are interested in attending these.  You will also be able to network with other SCIRSA student members and professional staff members from all across the state.
